Helping western athletes and their families build healthier lives.

ReRide Foundation grew from a belief that people in the western community deserve support that considers everything they’re carrying.

An injury can affect an athlete’s health, income, relationships, and sense of direction. Mental health challenges and addiction can be difficult to talk about, especially in a culture where people often feel expected to handle things on their own. Families experience those pressures, too.

Our work brings education, preventive care, and trusted provider relationships together to help people find a practical way forward. We want athletes to learn how to care for themselves early, keep building that knowledge throughout their lives, and feel comfortable reaching for support when they need it.

Our Mission

Our mission is to help western athletes and their families build healthier lives through education, preventive care, and a trusted network of providers who understand rodeo life. We help athletes build healthy practices at every stage of life and connect them with support for injury recovery, mental health, addiction, and major life transitions.

Our Vision

We envision a western community where athletes learn early how to care for their physical and mental health and have opportunities to keep learning as their needs change. Asking for help is met with understanding, and athletes can count on continued support as they recover, grow, and move forward. Athletes and their families have access to care that considers their whole lives, without financial hardship standing in the way.

The people behind ReRide

ReRide is led by Taylie Hammack-Bennett, Kaycie Timm, and Katie Schrock.

Our connection to this work is personal. Through our own experiences and relationships within the western community, we’ve seen how much it matters to have someone who understands your circumstances and can help you find the next step.

That perspective guides the relationships we build and the decisions we make for ReRide.
